Travis Nichols is a Senior Managing Associate with BLW Security Group, an independent security services company providing security system design and engineering services as well as a wide range of security consulting offerings. He has developed a broad range of security experience with demonstrated success in both federal and corporate security capacities including positions with federal law enforcement (Special Agent, DSS) and corporate security management roles in U.S. Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Nichols’ experience includes consulting, design, and project management, with a focus on asset and personnel protection, facility and property threat and vulnerability assessments, security audits, master plan development, investigations, operational security, and the creation and implementation of security standards, policies, and guidelines. Austin, TX: On Friday, November 18, ASIS International, the largest professional security organization in the world, will host its 2016 Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner at the Westin Austin at the Domain. The event is being held to honor public law enforcement as part of a continuous effort to promote increased cooperation between law enforcement and the private security industry. The cost for those interested in participating in this event is $500.00 per table. This sponsorship fee provides eight (8) seats at the table for the sponsors designated representatives and two (2) seats for a Law Enforcement officer nominee and his/her guest. Sponsors will be recognized by a place card identifying your company on the table as well as being listed on the printed program and special recognition at the dinner. In addition to supporting area law enforcement officers, proceeds from the event are used to support local community service programs associated with law enforcement, military, and scholarship opportunities to those seeking to further their education in the security field.
